F.A.Qs

  • We want your businesses and your employees to thrive. By addressing gender-based violence you are showing all of your employees that you care about their wellbeing. If you have an employee who is impacted by domestic or sexual violence, those effects are coming to work with them. When we acknowledge this issue- an issue that is often shrouded in secrecy and shame- we not only increase the safety of that employee, we make our entire business a safer and more caring place to work.

  • Working to provide support and access to resources that can increase employees’ safety doesn’t just benefit that individual. A National Resource Center, Workplaces Respond, found in one study that one in five workers experienced the impacts of intimate partner violence at work. Of these workers, 66% had this type of violence perpetrated in the workplace or on their workplace premises.  If we want to keep our workplaces safe, we need to invest in the safety of our employees.

  • We tailor our programming to meet the unique needs and challenges your company is facing. For some, ongoing consultation and support is the best fit. For others, it is helping to develop language for educational materials to help inform employees of resources and options available to them. We love to offer workshops of any size or length to help engage your colleagues and provide them with an opportunity for education and connection.

  • We want this partnership to be effective and meaningful for you and your team. To that end, we create a partnership agreement that sets out expectations about timeline, budget, and communication to ensure that we are aligned and able to meet your goals.

  • We can provide a variety of trainings to staff and organizational leadership. We offer topics such as how to talk to your kids about healthy relationships, the impact of domestic violence on the workplace, domestic violence employment leave and other options for survivors and their families, and burnout prevention. We love to talk to prospective clients to create tailored presentations that address your unique needs and fit your company culture.

  • Our proposal will include a communication strategy to ensure that your dedication to this work is visible to your colleagues and to your stakeholders. We are excited to help you tell the story and ensure that your commitment to employee wellbeing is heard and felt internally and externally.

  • We work closely with you to ensure that you are aware of our progress throughout the partnership and we are on track to meet your desired goals. If there is an interest in extending or renewing our contract we welcome the opportunity to continue our partnership.
